Entrepreneur Spirit is in the Blood
With more than three decades of entrepreneurial experience, Founder and President Damon Comerio has always been driven by a passion for excellence and a strong connection to community.
His journey began in high school with a full-service lawn maintenance company that grew to serve both residential and large-scale commercial clients throughout Kansas City. In 2005, after selling that business, Damon shifted his focus to real estate and founded Comerio Homes.
His commitment to quality construction, thoughtful leadership, and innovation has shaped Comerio Homes into one of Kansas City’s most respected builders. Today, that same vision guides our growth into Northwest Arkansas.
A Legacy Built on Family and Heritage
Damon’s great-grandparents, Pete and Madalena Comerio, immigrated from Italy and settled in Herrin, Illinois, where they opened Comerio’s Bakery in 1908. For 70 years, the bakery served as a cornerstone of the community, known for its craftsmanship, consistency, and care.
Those same values continue to inspire how we build today. Many of our floor plans honor our Italian heritage, named after cherished family members or the towns our ancestors once called home. Each name reflects pride, tradition, and the lasting legacy behind the Comerio brand.
